Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen admits the appointment of Denmark coach Kasper Hjulmand surprised him.
Eriksen says the players weren't consulted about hiring Hjulmand.
"It wasn't something we expected in that situation. But that's not something to do with us. It has to do with DBU as an organisation. If it is the best decision for them, it is the best decision for them," he told BT.
"I hadn't given it a thought who was going to be a new coach. It came as a little surprise to everyone that it happened.
"It was DBU's decision. At least I haven't been asked. I don't know about the others, but I don't think so."
