Arsenal hero Robin van Persie is sorry seeing Mesut Ozil frozen out.
Unai Emery left him out of his Europa League squad for victory over Vitoria.
Some Arsenal fans could be heard signing Ozil's name during Thursday's match at the Emirates stadium, while another held up a banner in support of the German.
Former Gunners star Van Persie spoke out about the situation on BT Sport before the tie.
He said: "It's a shame, he's one of their best players.
"He's really good but something is not quite right at the moment with him and the coach so hopefully that gets solved for Arsenal."
