Juventus midfielder Sami Khedira will have to accept a pay-cut to move to Arsenal.
Gazzetta dello Sport says the Gunners are offering a two-year deal worth 3.7m a year which is just over 70,000 a week.
The Juventus midfielder is currently on 5.5million a year which equates to 106,000 a week.
The 32-year-old is in the final season of his contract in Turin and is going to find it difficult to get game time at the Allianz Stadium.
Khedira was spotted at the Emirates on Sunday for Arsenal's pre-season friendly against Lyon.
