The Russia international, 26, only moved to Italy this summer from Genk.
Sport Arena says his form has caught the eye of Chelsea scouts so far this season.
Malinovskyi has thus far been able to play eight competition games for Atalanta.
The 26-year-old's contract with the Serie A club expires in the summer of 2024.
