Chelsea great Didier Drogba has again spoken of coming close to returning to Olympique Marseille.
Drogba hung up the boots earlier this year after playing out his days with Phoenix Rising in the US.
"Yes, I could have come back," he said.
"I had even met (ex-OM president) Robert Louis-Dreyfus after my first year at Chelsea, he had mentioned a loan, but I said no, if I come back it's completely.
"But that did not happen. But it's true that I would have liked to."
