Arsenal will have scouts watch Red Bull Salzburg midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai when the Austrian champions face Liverpool on Wednesday night.
The Gunners are monitoring the 18-year-old Hungary international, having made their interest known to Salzburg during last summer, says the Mirror.
Szoboszlai has scored eight goals in 31 games since joining from feeder club FC Liefering - also owned by Red Bull - in 2018.
Arsenal are believed have approached Salzburg chiefs with their wish to be kept informed on rival interest in Szoboszlai, ahead of a potential move at the end of the season.
They have monitored both he and teammate Erling Haaland.
