Amazon Prime Video, the US technology giant's streaming platform, could present a viable option as La Liga seeks an eleventh-hour rights deal in the UK and Ireland, according to the subscription media researcher Enders Analysis, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/.
La Liga's head of communications Joris Evers confirmed last week that the organising body had withdrawn a regional tender for broadcast rights to Spanish soccer's top-flight after receiving 'no satisfactory bids'.
SportsPro understands that La Liga is working towards an alternative deal to ensure that its games are available in the UK for the 2019/20 season, with the new campaign due to start on 16th August.
