Manchester United haven't dropped their interest in Newcastle United midfielder Sean Longstaff.
ESPN says United remain interested in Longstaff.
United were put off by Newcastle's 50m valuation of Longstaff, but they could return for the midfielder in January.
The 21-year-old is set to open talks over a new contract to extend his stay at St James' Park.
Longstaff started in last Sunday's defeat to Arsenal.
