Chelsea midfield ace N'Golo Kante says resisting interest from PSG over the past 18 months has been easy - thanks to how well he feels settled in London.
Kante is now in his fourth season with Chelsea and has explained resisting a return to home city Paris and PSG in recent seasons.
PSG have long tried to tempt Kante back to Paris, but the midfielder says knowing what he has in London and with Chelsea has always weighed heavily in his thinking when it comes to a potential career change.
Speaking to Canal Plus on Sunday night, via Le Figaro, Kante admits taking the gamble of what a transfer always represents isn't something he wants to make at this stage in his playing career. However, the 28 year-old, who has won the Premier League title with Leicester City and Chelsea, did confirm a move to PSG has been an option.
"Sometimes we do not necessarily know where we want to go but we know what we have," he explained. "I know I was good at Chelsea and not coming to PSG was more of a sporting choice."
The France World Cup winner was on the mark in Saturday's defeat to Manchester City.
He concluded: "I felt good in London and in the club project so I was happy to stay there."
Kante's contract runs to 2023 with the Blues.
