Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp included French teenager Billy Koumetio on the bench for victory over Arsenal in the Carabao Cup.
The 16-year-old central defender has been a regular for Liverpool's Under-18 side this season and is a French youth international, reports the Liverpool Echo.
Born in Lyon in 2002, Koumetio came through the Ligue 1 giants' academy before moving to Orleans FC, who play in the second tier of French football.
The youngster was scouted and signed by the Reds in 2018 after a successful trial with Liverpool's U17s in Berlin in November of that year.
