Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has been happy with the club's preseason.
The Blues recorded impressive friendly victories over Barcelona, RB Salzburg and Reading over the past few weeks.
Despite only taking over as coach at the start of July, Lampard feels as though his players have absorbed his tactics.
"I think it has been a good pre-season," Lampard told the club's website.
"When you are new as a manager, you have to try to get your ideas across as quickly as possible.
"The team have a certain way they have been used to playing, certain messages, and me and my staff have been trying to get our message across. I think we have done that."
