Lazio coach Simone Inzaghi insists he never doubted his position after victory at AC Milan.
Inzaghi led Lazio to a first win at San Siro since 1989 on Sunday.
He said, I know what football is like.
"I never felt in doubt, as the club was always by my side. I reflected over the summer that after winning the Italian Super Cup and Coppa Italia, this team could still do better.
"I told everyone in pre-season that our duty was to raise the bar and improve ourselves constantly, because I believe in them."
