Liverpool midfielder Pedro Chirivella says he feels "needed" by manager Jurgen Klopp.

The Spaniard came on as a substitute of the Reds' incredible 5-5 draw with Arsenal in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night, which the hosts eventually won on penalties.

On Klopp, he told Marca: "What you see on TV is what he's like in the dressing room. Very natural, very normal. He has a very special relationship with his players and I think that you see that on the pitch and with how we behave with him.

"He treats the most important players the same as he treats those that play the least. That's why, every time we're given a chance, we try to give everything.

"He wants to have 24 or 25 members of his squad involved for the whole season. Which is very difficult. There are 11, 12, 13 or 14 players that are very important and the rest have fewer minutes. But he manages to keep those that play less involved. We're 100 percent at his disposal when he needs us. When he gives the others a rest, we're ready to keep playing like the most important players play."
