Chelsea attacker Christian Pulisic could've been a Manchester United player, it has been revealed.
Pulisic had been wanted by clubs across Europe last season, and was linked with United before eventually choosing Chelsea.
And he was put off the idea of joining the Red Devils because of the apparent reluctance of former United boss Jose Mourinho to give young players a chance.
That is according to Robin Walker, Pulisic's youth coach who has remained in contact with the player.
I'm a Chelsea fan, I grew up in London supporting them," Walker told the Telegraph.
When I was in Dortmund last year, I told him that he had to come. He wouldn't go to Manchester United because of Jose Mourinho.
"His father couldn't stand Mourinho, because he didn't promote young players."
