A culinary adventure at Jalan Masjid India is a renowned destination for halal food in Kuala Lumpur. The streets are lined with small eateries stalls serving up a mouthwatering array of Malaysian and Indian Muslim dishes. It's a fantastic place to experience authentic local flavors without a hefty price tag. It is also known as a bustling and colorful marketplace in KL city's ‘Little India’, offering vibrant fashion, unique souvenirs & delicious halal food street. In fact, evidently, its handicrafts, clothing, beauty services, jewelry, gourmet snacks, gadgets, and souvenirs are more affordable in KL's Little India than in India.
My wife, Zarina & I decided to do walkabout around Masjid India after authorities revealed the true cause of last year's sinkhole findings, and that another ground settlement has struck the same neighborhood, this time along Jalan Bonus, in-front the Bombay Jewellery outlet. I remember an Indian tourist G. Vijayalakshmi, 48, went missing after she fell into an 8m-deep sinkhole that suddenly opened beneath her feet on the morning of 8th August, last year. It is heartwarming that Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) stressed that public safety is its top priority and no other location currently classified as high-risk.

After the walkabout around Masjid India, we decided to drop-by at ABC Bistro Cafe for South Indian Cuisine that encompasses traditions of five southern Indian States: Tamil Madu, Andhra Pradesh, Kartnataka, Kerala & Telangana, and it is known for its rice, coconut & a variety of spices. I like most of the popular dishes include naan with grilled chicken, hot dosas (crepes), idlis (steamed rice cakes), sambar, and rasam, which are served with mutton curries.
I had many time visited the 5 South India States during my tenure with Malaysia Airlines Academy. So, I found ABC Bistro Cafe is a decent place to dine with friends & family. Food is delicious both quality and quantity wise, at affordable prices. The staff is customer friendly, hospitable and accommodating.
