PUTRAJAYA – Pas president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang visited the grave of the late Tun Dr Hasmah Mohamad Ali at Pusara Negara, Presint 20, today.
In a Facebook post, Hadi said he prayed for Allah SWT to shower His mercy upon Hasmah, forgive her sins and accept her good deeds.
“May Allah SWT shower His mercy upon the soul of the deceased, forgive all her sins, accept all her good deeds and place her among His servants who have faith, perform righteous deeds and are granted an honoured place in His presence.
“Al-Fatihah,” he wrote.
Hadi was accompanied by his political secretary, Mohd Syahir Che Sulaiman.
During the visit, Hadi was also received by Hasmah’s son, Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir.
Hasmah died at the National Heart Institute (IJN) on Sept 28 at the age of 100 and was laid to rest at Pusara Negara on the same day with state funeral honours.
