AC Milan have sent Sergino Dest back to Barcelona.
The fullback had spent the season on-loan with AC Milan, with the arrangement including a permanent option.
However, Milan have announced Dest is being allowed to return to Barca with the loan now expired.
Dest isn't in the plans of coach Xavi and will be encouraged to find a new club.
Indeed, new sporting director Deco has been told finding a new club for Dest is a priority given the drag on the budget his wages represent.
