Electric scooters are becoming a more common part of urban transportation, and Acer is looking to push the category further with its latest Predator ES Thunder Pro.
The brand showcased this model at IFA 2026, where the 500 W rear-wheel-drive motor can push out a peak output of 1,600 W and up to 32 Nm of torque. It also handles inclines of up to 28%, giving it enough power for both daily city rides and more demanding terrain.
This is thanks to the Traction Control System (TCS) adjusting power output based on road conditions to help maintain traction on wet or low-grip surfaces. The scooter rides on 10-inch tubeless pneumatic off-road tires and carries an IPX6 water-resistance rating, while front daytime running lights and side RGB ambient lighting improve visibility when riding at night.
For longer trips, the scooter can deliver up to 70 kilometers of range on a single charge, making it better suited for extended commutes and frequent use without having to recharge as often.
The smart features go beyond the riding experience as well. The Predator ES Thunder Pro supports dual-platform location tracking through Apple Find My and Google Find Hub, allowing owners to keep track of where their scooter is.
Through the Acer eMobility app, riders can check battery levels, vehicle status, and riding data in real time, while also managing features such as electronic locking, lighting, and other device settings. The app also adds AI voice control, letting users lock or unlock the scooter, check its battery level, and control the lighting using voice commands from a smartphone or smartwatch.
