ACMobility, Robinsons Land to build EV charging stations

ACMobility, Ayala Corp.'s mobility arm, has tied up with Robinsons Land Corp. (RLC) to build electric vehicle (EV) charging stations in the latter’s properties.

"Our partnership comes at such a pivotal time. There is clear intent among Filipinos to shift to EVs,” ACMobility CEO Jaime Alfonso Zobel de Ayala said.

“This is why at ACMobility, we’re hard at work building the Philippine EV Spine. With more charging points available from Pagudpud in the north to Pagadian in the south, we will enable worry-free EV-powered drives,” he added.

RLC President and CEO Mybelle Aragon-GoBio said, “Robinsons Land has always believed in creating developments that are ready for the future and responsive to the needs of the communities we serve.”

“Through GoCharge and our partnership with ACMobility, we are helping make sustainable mobility more practical and within reach while creating long-term value across our properties," she added.

Under the partnership, ACMobility will build more than 200 charge points in RLC properties, including residential buildings, offices, hotels and estates.

This will make EV charging accessible in Metro Manila and Tagaytay, as well as the provinces of Tuguegarao, Tarlac, Bicol, Palawan, Bacolod, Cebu and Iloilo.

ACMobility parent Ayala Corp.’s share price fell by P10 to close at P419 each. RLC’s shares fell by six centavos to close at P17.82 apiece on Tuesday.
