TAWAU: A total of 280 vehicles were inspected during an integrated operation by the Sabah Road Transport Department (JPJ) alongside four enforcement agencies at Jalan Kuhara, here, Thursday night.
The operation from 8pm involved 63 JPJ personnel, eight each from the National Anti-Drug Agency (AADK), the Malaysian Immigration Department (JIM) and the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) as well as four from the Commercial Vehicle Licensing Board (LPKP).
Sabah JPJ Enforcement Division Chief Romie Matalib said action was taken on 42 of the vehicles inspected for various offences.
