PETALING JAYA – Police are investigating a case involving a woman who claimed to have been assaulted by her boyfriend, a well-known actor, at a condominium in Damansara.
It is understood that the woman filed a report at the Taman Tun Dr Ismail (TTDI) Police Station.
Petaling Jaya District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Shahrulnizam Ja'afar confirmed that the police received the report from the woman last Sunday.
"Yes, we have received a report about an actor assaulting his girlfriend. The case is still under investigation," he said when contacted by Sinar on Tuesday.
Earlier, the victim uploaded photos of her injuries on her Instagram account.
She also shared images of injuries to her eye and body, which she claimed were inflicted by the actor.
