Adidas is set to shift three times more Germany World Cup shirts than during the 2022 men's edition, but Mexico jerseys are selling best of all, chief executive Bjørn Gulden said on Wednesday.

He estimated more than 3 million of the current Germany jerseys would be sold in total, which would be a record for the home nation of the sportswear manufacturer.

Demand for the white home shirt is the highest but the dark blue away top is also selling significantly better than the pink one for the home European Championship two years ago.

A shortage of the letter V for the back of replica shirts given Germany players Deniz Undav, Kai Havertz and Aleksandar Pavlović was now resolved, he said.

The decades-long partnership between Adidas and the German Football Federation will soon end. From 2027, the German national teams will be kitted out by US firm Nike.

Mexico shirts made by Adidas are selling best at the 2026 tournament they are co-hosting, ahead of those of Argentina and then Germany, Gulden added.
