SHAH ALAM – German athletic apparel giant Adidas and Selangor Football Club (Selangor FC) have officially launched the Red Giants’ Home and Away kit for the 2026/27 season.
Named the "1921 Heritage Redefined" collection, the launch marks a new chapter in the partnership between both brands, bridging the club's storied history with modern performance and design.
The Home kit maintains Selangor FC's traditional red colourway enhanced with contemporary details, whilst the Away kit offers a clean, understated design reflecting quiet confidence. Both jerseys prominently feature a "1921" detail on the back of the neck, paying tribute to the year the club played its first-ever match.
Speaking at the launch at Sunway Pyramid, Adidas Malaysia Country Manager Preston Page expressed pride in partnering with one of the most iconic clubs in Malaysian football.
He noted that the new collection is designed to honour the club's deep heritage whilst inspiring future generations of players and supporters.
“The 26/27 Home and Away kits are the first chapter of that journey, designed to honour Selangor FC's heritage while equipping the team and its fans for what comes next,” Page said.
Selangor FC chief executive officer Dr Johan Kamal Hamidon echoed these sentiments, stating that the collection reflects the identity and heritage of the club, delivering a kit worthy of the prestigious badge.
To celebrate the launch, Adidas hosted an interactive pop-up experience at the Grand Foyer of Sunway Pyramid, which runs until today.
Supporters can explore a history wall detailing the club's legacy and experience an immersive audio tour highlighting iconic moments.
The football section of the adidas Brand Centre at Sunway Pyramid has been converted into a dedicated Red Giants zone for fans to gear up.
The Selangor FC 2026/27 Home and Away jerseys are priced at RM199 each.
They are available at selected adidas retail outlets, the official adidas online store, the Selangor FC Flagship Store and authorised retail partners including Al-Ikhsan Sports and Sports Direct.
