Tuaran: The Aero Carnival 2024 at the KKIP Aerospace Training Centre here on Saturday saw further collaborations for the State's aviation and aerospace aspirations.

The event witnessed the signing of agreements between the State's aerospace training subsidiary and four major industry players.

The signing are between Mega Aerospace Centre Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Kota Kinabalu Industrial Park (KKIP) and global aviation giants like Malaysia Airlines Engineering (MABES), SIA Engineering Company (SIAEC) as well as China's CAAC Malaysia and Guangzhou Guangai Aviation Training.

Officiated by State Industrial Development and Entrepreneurship Minister Datuk Phoong Jin Zhe, the Aero Carnival spotlights the pivotal role that aviation plays in Sabah's economy and development agenda under the Sabah Maju Jaya Blueprint 1.0.
