MEMBAKUT: Sabah Islamic Affairs Council (Muis) was awarded a clean bill 2022 on its financial management, three years in a row, by the Audtor-General.
Newly appointed Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Datuk Dr Mohd Arifin bin Mohd Arif, who is also a Sabah Islamic Affairs Exco, said such feat is one of the contributing factors to Muslims’ confidence in Muis as well as its role and zakat contribution.
“Muis received the clean bill for 2022, and will receive it officially this year from the Auditor-General,” he said, after launching a briefing for zakat collectors from here and Bongawan as well as a presentation of outstanding zakat collectors for both districts at an art hall here, recently.
