New Ajax coach Alfred Schreuder insists a deal for Tottenham midfielder Steven Bergwijn remains on.
The Holland international has declared he wishes to leave Spurs and join Ajax this summer.
Everton and Newcastle United, however, have since made contact with Spurs for Bergwijn.
But after yesterday's friendly win against German SV Meppen, Schreuder stated: “Bergwijn isn't finished yet, so we just have to wait for that.
"I want to focus on the players I do have."
