Manchester City midfielder Rodri admits the players have struggled to handle VAR.
City thought they had snatched victory against Tottenham when Gabriel Jesus rifled past Hugo Lloris with only a few minutes on the clock before VAR disallowed the goal following a handball by Aymeric Laporte.
Rodri believes that the technology will take some time to adjust to and City can't focus on things out of their control.
"It is a little bit difficult to get used to it," he said. "Sometimes you don't know why some actions are checked and others aren't, but I think that the officials try to do their job the best they can.
"We can only analyse what we control, we can't control the things that are not in our hands.
"We need to keep working the same way we've been doing. The team is doing well. Every time you don't get a win is because you've done something wrong, but we're on the right path."
