Al Hilal launched an amazing bank-busting bid to sign Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo last month, it has been revealed.
CNN Portugal says knowing Ronaldo's agent Jorge Mendes was struggling to drum up interest in the 37 year-old, Al Hilal made their offer in the final days of the summer market.
The Saudis offered a two-year contract to Ronaldo with wages of €2.4m-a-WEEK.
Over the two years, the package would've been worth €242m to the Portuguese great.
However, Ronaldo refused, insisting he still had things to achieve in Europe.
