Al-Ittihad have named Marcelo Gallardo as new coach.
Gallardo succeeds Nuno after his sacking last week. Al-Ittihad had also been speaking with former Wolves manager Julen Lopetegui.
Gallardo has signed a contract until 2025.
The Argentine has been a free agent since leaving River Plate a year ago.
Al-Ittihad sit fifth on the Saudi Pro League table.
