- However, Dominik Szoboszlai took the ball instead, and Shearer indicated on The Rest is Football podcast that he was disappointed with Isak as he wanted the striker to show “what you’ve got” after getting “absolutely battered” by the Newcastle fans.
- Instead, Szoboszlai stepped up and smashed the ball into the top corner, with Shearer admitting that it was an exceptional penalty under extreme pressure.
