Albert Martinez shares skincare and longevity lessons

Award-winning actor Albert Martinez is proof that wellness, when practiced consistently, can become part of everyday life rather than a passing trend.

Speaking at the launch of Seven107 Market in Filinvest Alabang, Muntinlupa, Martinez shared his thoughts on personal care, nutrition and healthy living, urging younger generations to build habits that will help them stay fit and well for the long run.

Now 65, Martinez said taking care of oneself goes beyond appearance, even if looking good is part of the job in show business.

“Since we are here in the industry, you must look young and be aware of what is out there or have the proper skin care and how to protect yourself from all the elements,” he said.

“We really need a partner that will protect us and keep us young.”

For Martinez, longevity begins with discipline. He advised aspiring actors and young talents to avoid abusing their bodies and to approach health with balance and moderation, not only for career longevity but for a better quality of life overall.

“What’s important is your lifestyle and that you do not abuse yourself,” he said. “Everything should be in moderation, and that was what I learned from the late Eddie Garcia. He said you will be fine if you avoid drinking too much alcohol and smoking. Proper skincare is important, and you eat healthy.”

Martinez added that while he shares advice with younger colleagues on sustaining a career, he also emphasizes the value of taking care of oneself from the inside out.

That same mindset led him to join forces with businessman Mike Atayde and entrepreneur and wellness content creator Jose Llamas in launching Seven107 Market, a new platform focused on modern wellness. The three founders represent different generations, bringing together perspectives shaped by experience, evolving science and changing wellness needs.

“This product is my life,” Martinez said, underscoring how seriously he takes the responsibility of being a public figure. “It is a commitment, and you owe it to your fans or audiences to be healthy and a good example on top of the game.”

Among the featured products introduced at the launch was the NMN Lifestyle Moringa Soap, whose tagline is “Where Younger Skin Begins.” Its formulation is anchored in moringa leaves and moringa oil extracts, ingredients known for their antioxidant content, vitamins A, C and E and essential fatty acids. These components help protect the skin from environmental stress, support hydration and improve texture and tone.

The product is also positioned as the first in the Philippine market to combine NMN and Officinol in one formulation, reflecting the brand’s focus on science-backed, longevity-centered skincare.

Exclusively available through Seven107 Market, the launch marks the start of a broader portfolio of next-generation wellness products designed to bring advanced ingredients into everyday routines.
