As she steps onto one of tennis’ grandest stages, Eala made an impassioned plea for unwavering support in the French Open in Paris.
“Maraming salamat, mga kababayan. Sana samahan ninyo ako sa laban ko dito sa French Open (Thank you very much, my fellow Filipinos. I hope you continue to follow my matches here at the French Open),” said Eala.
All eyes now turn to her high-stakes showdown against No. 17 seed Iva Jovic on Tuesday, tentatively set for 5 p.m. (Manila time) at Court 14 of Stade Roland-Garros.
