MANILA, Philippines — Belgium's Ambassador to the Philippines Vladislava lordanova said her country was looking at possible business ventures in the Philippines after Manila and the European Union reached a free trade agreement.
In a press briefing at her residence on Friday, Ambassador lordanova said the Philippines has become a priority market for Belgium, particularly for businesses connected to the Port of Antwerp-Bruges—Europe’s second-largest port.
"Eyes are on the Philippines," Ambassador Iordanova said.
The Ambassador noted that maritime transport remained a primary pillar of Belgium's economic engagement with Manila, backed by a collaborative ecosystem of port operators, dredging firms, and logistics providers.
