The Mercedes-AMG GT 63 4-Door Coupé bring electric supercar performance in a uniquely AMG way.
Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has offered a sneak preview of the all-new Mercedes-AMG GT 63 4-Door Coupé, ushering in a revolutionary era for electric high-performance driving. The event was officiated by new Mercedes-Benz Malaysia Chief Operating Officer, Kevin Barbain and Mercedes-Benz Malaysia CEO & President, Martin Schultz.

Unveiled at KLCC Plaza alongside Malaysia’s Formula 1 celebrations, this 4-door sports car is the first series-production model built upon Affalterbach’s dedicated AMG.EA electric architecture. It seamlessly blends true sports car ergonomics with grand-tourer versatility. The vehicle introduces an innovative electric drive concept featuring three axial-flux electric motors paired with an 800-volt AMG High Performance Electric Battery (AMG HP.EB).

Generating a total output of up to 1,169 hp and 2,000 Nm of maximum torque, the all-electric coupé rockets from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.4 seconds, reaching a top speed of 260 km/h. The 106 kWh usable battery capacity utilizes direct liquid cooling for individual cylindrical cells, enabling consistent continuous power delivery and a WLTP electric driving range of up to 697 km. Charging capability is equally impressive via the AMG Performance Charging system, supporting 350 kW DC fast charging that replenishes 10% to 80% state of charge in 16 minutes. The vehicle’s kerb weight is 2,535 kg with a payload of 460 kg.

Dynamic control is managed through fully variable AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive with torque vectoring, active rear-axle steering up to 6°, and AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL air suspension with semi-active roll stabilization. Drivers can customize performance via centre-console rotary controls for Response, Agility, and Traction Control, alongside the AMGFORCE S+ acoustic system, which dynamically synthesizes authentic AMG V8 soundscapes from 1,600 real-time audio files. Active AEROKINETICS aerodynamics include deployment of underbody Venturi Flow elements, an active multi-stage rear spoiler, and vertical AIRPANEL louvres.

The interior centers around a driver-focused digital cabin boasting a seamless-glass display unit with a 10.2-inch instrument cluster, a 14.9-inch central screen, and an independent 14-inch front passenger display. Cabin appointments feature AMG Performance Seats in Nappa leather and MICROCUT microfibre with yellow accents, a SKY CONTROL panoramic roof with illuminated graphics, and carbon-fibre trim.

Standard equipment highlights include Burmester 3D Surround Sound with 4D vibration, head-up display, selfie and video camera, 21-inch AMG forged wheels, MB.DRIVE ASSIST, and PARKTRONIC with a 360° camera.
