From former US presidents and tech billionaires to influencers, the guest list of Donald Trump’s inauguration ceremony was star-studded, to say the least. The world’s three richest men — Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, and Mark Zuckerberg came together for the event, and the combined net worth of these attendees, totalling almost USD 1 trillion, rivalled the GDP of several countries. Also enjoying the limelight at the events was the Trump family, and as Donald Trump took his oath as the 47th President of the United States of America, everyone from First Lady Melania Trump to his daughter Ivanka Trump flaunted their best looks. Let’s take a look at all the best-dressed guests at the Trump inauguration ceremony.

According to Forbes, 34.4 million people in the nation watched as the United States of America ushered in its new President, with the swearing-in ceremony broadcast over fifteen networks. An event that seemed like the Oscars of the business world, the inauguration ceremony saw a strong turnout of big business honchos including TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew, Apple CEO Tim Cook and Google CEO Sundar Pichai. The event also saw performances from artists like popular country music singer Carrier Underwood and the musical group The Village People, among others.

While First Lady Melania Trump made the biggest fashion statement of the evening with her viral hat, Second Lady Usha Vance wasn’t far behind with her Oscar de la Renta coat and taupe boots. But it wasn’t just the ladies who spruced up for the occasion; tech titans also swapped their usual t-shirts for crisp suits as they took centre stage at the event. The grand swearing-in ceremony, followed by the inaugural ball, saw plenty of high fashion looks and here’s a roundup of the guests who were best-dressed at Trump’s inauguration.

Best-dressed looks from Donald Trump’s inauguration ceremony

First Lady, Melania Trump

Trending even more than the President himself, the First Lady of America, Melania Trump kicked off the inauguration ceremony with an outfit that will go down in history among the most iconic First Lady looks. From her dramatic headgear, a hat by Eric Javits to her stunning black outfit by New York designer Adam Lippes, Melania Trump’s coat dress hit the mark as one of the sharpest looks of the Capitol Rotunda ceremony.

In another triumphant choice, Melania Trump also made waves with her second look from the inauguration day as she attended the Liberty Ball in a chic strapless white silk crepe dress. She accessorised the gown with a choker-style necklace featuring a dazzling diamond broach.

Ivanka Trump

Known for making elegant sartorial choices, Trump’s daughter Ivanka Trump made a fabulous fashion statement wearing an emerald green skirt suit from Dior with a matching hat. A stellar pick for winter fashion, the monotone look was a standout at the ceremony.

The First Daughter of America also showcased her flawless style at the Liberty Ball wearing a Givenchy haute couture dress. Ivanka radiated glamour in the stunning off-white gown, which showcased floral black detailing. She further accessorised her look with elbow-length black gloves.

Usha Vance

The new Second Lady of America and the wife of US Vice President JD Vance, Usha Vance sported two head-turning looks on Inauguration Day. At the swearing-in ceremony, the 39-year-old opted for a pink Oscar de la Renta overcoat and styled it with a scarf tucked into her waist belt.

Catching attention with yet another stunning look, Vance later appeared as a shimmering vision at the inaugural ball, dressed in a dazzling blue strapless dress from Reem Acra. With minimal accessories paired with the sapphire number, Usha Vance sealed a place for herself among the best-dressed looks from Trump’s inauguration events.

Lauren Sanchez and Jeff Bezos

Among several tycoons that were invited to the big event, the second richest man in the world aka Jeff Bezos was also seen in attendance. The Amazon founder graced the event alongside his partner Lauren Sánchez who came under fire for her choice of attire as netizens questioned her bold outfit for the ceremony. Sanchez attended the prestigious event wearing an Alexander McQueen white blazer and trousers. The former news anchor donned a lacy corset underneath the blazer, raising the ire of several netizens who deemed it inappropriate for the formal occasion. As for Bezos, the billionaire opted for a classic suit with a wine-coloured tie for the event.

Sanchez also gave a peek of her ethereal look from the inaugural ball in an Instagram post. She donned an elegant Dolce & Gabbana gown with cape sleeves for the ceremony and paired it with dazzling jewellery from Lorraine Schwartz.

Jill Biden

Outgoing First Lady Jill Biden chose a surprisingly bright shade for the event, opting for a bold purple monochrome coat with matching shoes and gloves from Ralph Lauren. Biden’s choice of sporting a dress from the American designer comes weeks after he was celebrated for his contribution to the fashion industry and honoured with the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan

As top tech billionaires enjoyed the view from front-row seats at Trump’s swearing-in ceremony, Meta and Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan also made an appearance.  Following Zuckerberg’s recent fashion transformation, especially his wardrobe choices — and in particularly the viral gold chain look making the headlines, he kept it simple for Trump’s big day. While the Meta CEO opted for a black suit, paired with a white shirt and maroon tie, his wife Priscilla Chan made an impressive appearance in a pale blue knit cardigan by Bottega Veneta that shone with gold buttons. Chan’s elegant outfit was a great pick, making her a worthy addition to the best-dressed guests at the Trump inauguration ceremony.

Elon Musk

Basking in the glory of his appointment in Donald Trump’s cabinet, Tesla founder Elon Musk showcased his celebratory spirit at the event with a multitude of gestures. From delivering a passionate speech to jumping around, the billionaire nonetheless contrasted his exuberance with a toned-down look: a black suit and a navy blue tie. However, Musk’s energetic antics drew massive backlash online over a one-armed gesture he made while thanking supporters for contributing to Trump’s Presidential win. The controversial gesture sparked outrage as it bore a striking resemblance the Nazi salute, as pointed out by enraged netizens online.

Social media personalities

The guest list for Trump’s inauguration ball held plenty of surprises, including those in the form of famous social media personalities including podcaster Joe Rogan and comedian Theo Von, as well as brothers Jake and Logan Paul.

YouTubers turned professional wrestlers, Jake and Logan Paul were seen having a grand time at the Presidential event. Looking dapper in their suits and black overcoats, the brothers shared multiple photos from the ceremony on their Instagram.

Carrie Underwood

Taking the stage to sing “America the Beautiful” in an acapella, American country singer Carrie Underwood left attendees in awe. Besides her velvety voice, the singer’s elegant wardrobe pick also won praise. Underwood stepped away from her usual glittering dresses and opted for a soft-toned, fitted midi dress with minimal sparkly accessories. The white ensemble, which featured a small draped collar and ruched fabric in the front, made for a simplistic yet tasteful choice for the prestigious occasion.

Nita Ambani and Mukesh Ambani

After throwing one of the most expensive weddings for their son Anant Ambani in 2024, Indian billionaire Mukesh Ambani and his wife Nita Ambani kicked off 2025 by attending a private reception honouring US President Donald Trump in Washington D.C. While the Indian billionaire is known to share a close bond with Trump, the couple was not present for the swearing-in ceremony. However, the Ambanis offered their congratulations to the President in a pre-inauguration celebration. A picture captured from the event recently went viral on Instagram as netizens were once again stunned by Nita Ambani’s bold emerald jewellery. Wearing a stunning black saree with gold patterns, Nita Ambani stole the show with the chunky piece.
