Alyssa Shakira begins her music career with a soft pop track about memory and loved ones
YOUNG singer Alyssa Shakira has released her debut single Peluk Aku Lagi on digital music platforms.
The song was first introduced through a lyric video on YouTube on May 5.
Born in Malang, Indonesia and based in Kuala Lumpur, Alyssa works within a pop sound with personal and melancholic elements.
The song is not written as a heartbreak track. It reflects on childhood memories, family, friendships and simple moments from the past that become more meaningful over time.
“I want this song to remind people that there are many beautiful things in life that sometimes only feel truly precious after they’ve passed. Not to regret them, but to be grateful for them,” said Alyssa Shakira.
The track features a soft pop arrangement, intimate melodies and Alyssa’s emotional vocals.
For the production, Mukti Irianto served as vocal director. The song and lyrics were written by Fajar Sandy. The arrangement was done by Fajar Sandy and Eka Catra, while recording, mixing and mastering were handled by Eka Catra at Creatorix Studio in Malang.
The lyric video uses footage documented by Alyssa herself, showing moments linked to memories, personal journeys and the atmosphere of the song. Online and offline editing was handled by Fajar Sandy.
Through Peluk Aku Lagi, she hopes to reach listeners who miss home, family, friends or past moments.
“I hope everyone can find their own interpretation while listening to this song. Hopefully, it can accompany anyone who is remembering the best people in their life,” Alyssa added.
Peluk Aku Lagi is available on digital streaming platforms including Spotify and Apple Music.
