- The homestay owner is accused of attempting to suppress the incident and prevent the victim from seeking help, including allegedly disabling WiFi services.
- After three days, the woman managed to leave the homestay and contacted the US embassy in Delhi, which then facilitated communication with Indian authorities.
- Both arrested men will remain in custody until 3 May as the investigation continues, with forensic and medical examinations already conducted.
