SHAH ALAM – Bersatu information chief Wan Saiful Wan Jan has claimed that Umno's Annuar Musa was a witness to the "coalition's agreement" between the Perikatan Nasional (PN) and Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob over the deputy prime minister's post.
He said this after Umno information chief Shahril Hamdan’s denied the claim that Ismail had signed an agreement promising PN the deputy prime minister’s post.
“The witness to this coalition agreement on the side of the prime minister was Tan Sri Annuar Musa,” Wan Saiful in a Facebook post said.
Wan Saiful further claimed Umno had also pressed former prime minister Muhyiddin Yassin for posts when he was in power.
“(But) we never said Umno was power crazy because that is a best practice,” he said, adding that the issue was not about posts, but integrity and fulfilling promises.
The current administration has four senior ministers and does not have a deputy prime minister.
