More changes are underway inside Chelsea's front office.

The has club announced the exit of their director of communications and public affairs Steve Atkins.

In the latest departure following the takeover by Todd Boehly and Clearlake, Atkins is leaving Chelsea after 14 years to join McLaren Racing.

Chelsea are understood to have lined up Manchester City group director of corporate affairs Toby Craig to fill the considerable void left by Atkins, who has been an influential figure at Stamford Bridge since joining the club under Roman Abramovich in 2008, reports the London Evening Standard.

In a statement, Chelsea said Atkins “will continue to act as a senior advisor to the club and support the transition over the next few months".
