KUALA LUMPUR - Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and his wife Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail took time to visit Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof and former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, who are receiving treatment at the National Heart Institute (IJN).
In a post on X, Anwar said Fadillah’s health condition had shown positive improvement during their meeting yesterday.
"Alhamdulillah, his health is improving, but he still needs sufficient rest as advised by the medical team,” he said.
Meanwhile, Anwar said that he and his wife also took time to visit Ismail Sabri, who is also receiving treatment at IJN and still requires further monitoring.
"Azizah and I pray that both of them will be granted a speedy recovery, that their treatment will be eased in every way, and that they will continue to be blessed with good health and strength to serve the people and the country, insya-Allah,” he said. - BERNAMA
