NGL, this one caught us off guard too.
It all started when someone told us that PMX’s website was “hacked.” Apparently, anwaribrahim.com was redirecting to some random site (we saw it go to a crypto exchange at one point 😬). So we did a bit of digging…
Turns out: The domain had simply expired, and no one had renewed it.
As you know, the internet can be a wild place. Once a domain is left unguarded, it can easily fall into the hands of scammers, hackers, or domain squatters who might misuse it — for phishing, fake news, spam, or worse. And we didn’t want that to happen.
So, What Did We Do?
Since we didn’t know anyone from PMX’s team, and the domain was at risk of being snapped up… we bought it first. 🫢
Yup! Newswav is now (temporarily) the proud owner of anwaribrahim.com.
Not to jual mahal, but to stop bad actors from abusing the domain and misrepresenting our PMX online.
Why Did We Do This?
To be honest, we just didn’t want the domain to fall into the wrong hands. One day it’s redirecting to a crypto site, the next day... who knows?
Also, let’s be real — it’s kinda funny that a media platform like us is now holding onto the official domain of the PMX. (We promise we’ll return it!)
