For the first time in Aperol’s 107-year history, the neon orange aperitif we all know and love is now available in cans.
With a stretch of sunny days on the horizon across the UK, the new Aperol Spritz TO GO cans couldn’t have picked a better moment to show up. Think picnics, BBQs, park hangs… basically any excuse to be outside with friends and something fizzy in hand.
Aperol Spritz is already Britain’s go-to cocktail – according to NIQ data, 20 per cent of customers choose it most times they go out – so it’s no surprise it’s getting the grab-and-go treatment. You might’ve spotted the pre-mixed version in glass bottles before, but these 250ml cans feel tailor-made for festivals, parks, and anywhere glass isn’t ideal.
Andrea Neri, managing director of House of Aperitifs at Campari Group, said: “Aperol Spritz has become a symbol of contemporary social style, and this new ready-to-drink format opens the door to new moments and places while staying true to the spirit that has defined Aperol for over a century.
“We are proud to bring that Aperol DNA and premium quality with the launch of the new format, heralding a new era for the beloved brand.”
