Former Manchester United chief executive Richard Arnold has been handed a 5.5million payout by the club.
Arnold was given his marching orders by new minority investor Sir Jim Ratcliffe.
As his INEOS group looks to bring in their own personnel, Arnold was the first casualty.
Per The Times, Arnold is thought to have received the mega pay off as part of his contract.
He was only United's top man for a couple of years, but did work at the club for more than a decade.
Arnold totalled 16 years of service, but has now cut all ties with the Red Devils.
