
KOTA BELUD: The hospital here had to seek the help of the Fire and Rescue station to help remove a fishing arrow that pierced a man’s right arm on Thursday.
The 25-year-old victim went to the hospital after the incident but it was difficult to remove the arrow.
Kota Belud District Fire and Rescue Station Chief Muhammad Syazwan Latun said the station received a distress call about the incident at 11.59pm.
A team of three including an auxiliary fire personnel (PBB) was dispatched to the scene of the incident in an Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS).

Read more “The team then found a man pierced by an arrow and was informed that the incident happened while the victim was fishing.
“The team cut the iron arrow and gave initial treatment before handing it over to the hospital’s medical staff for further action,” he said.
The victim is reportedly in a stable condition.
