Arsenal are rethinking sale plans for Granit Xhaka.
The Switzerland midfielder is expected to leave for Bayer Leverkusen once Arsenal complete the signing of West Ham captain Declan Rice.
However, the Athletic says Xhaka may now not be leaving.
Gunners boss Mikel Arteta has been reluctant to lose the midfielder, no matter the changes planned this summer.
Should Xhaka reconsider the move, Arteta will be happy to include him for the new season.
