Arsenal attacker Kai Havertz was played at left-back by Germany coach Julian Nagelsmann yesterday.
Havertz was played at the back and scored in the 3-2 friendly defeat to Turkey.
He opened the scoring after just four minutes.
Nagelsmann explained: Kai won't always be in this position. I have a great idea, he's an exceptionally good footballer.
This is a very good option. He won't always play as a classic left-back."
