Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta admits they need to win every remaining game this season to stand a chance of winning the Premier League title.
Last night's 4-1 defeat at Manchester City handed the Sky Blues the advantage in the title race.
Asked if Arsenal, four games without a win, now need five straight victories, Arteta said: "I think so.
"The analysis is clear: the better team won the game.
"City were probably at their best. The gap became too big. The basic things you have to do against an exceptional team, we didn't do it and we got punished.
"The stats at the start of the season said we'd finish sixth or seventh. There are still five games to play."
