Arsenal are said to be in advanced talks with Ben White regarding a new contract.
The centre back, who also plays as a right back for manager Mikel Arteta, has two and a half years left on his current deal.
Since arriving from Brighton in 2021, White has established himself as one of the first names on the team sheet.
Per The Sun, the 26-year-old is set to agree on a higher salary and a longer contract.
He will be committing the best years of his career to the Gunners, while fellow defender Takehiro Tomiyasu may do the same.
The Japan international is also one who has shown his usefulness for Arteta this season.
