Arsenal defender William Saliba will not be representing France during the international break.
The centre back was involved for the Gunners against Manchester City on Sunday in the Premier League.
Saliba played all 90 minutes in the Gunners impressive 1-0 win over the champions.
However, Saliba appears to have a knock on his toe that he sustained in the game.
"Todibo replaces William Saliba. The Nice defender was called in by Didier Deschamps to replace the Arsenal defender, who was injured in his right big toe," the Equipe de France X account announced.
Saliba did miss the title run in last season due to injury, which may have resulted in him exercising caution with any issue this term.
