
Some Arsenal fans have reacted strongly after reports emerged about Edu Gaspar’s situation at Nottingham Forest.
The former Arsenal sporting director left the Emirates to take up a role within Evangelos Marinakis’ football group, which oversees several clubs including Nottingham Forest.
However, reports from The Telegraph suggest that the global head of football has encountered issues behind the scenes at the City Ground and his departure is imminent.
Arsenal fans criticise Edu Gaspar after Nottingham Forest development

Following the news about Edu’s fragile situation at Forest, a number of Arsenal supporters took to X to voice their opinions.
Many were highly critical of the Brazilian director and revisited debates about his time at the Emirates Stadium.
One supporter wrote: “My God, how did we put up with him for so long. Wow.”
A second fan commented: “He caused us three league titles.”
Others were similarly blunt, with one fan posting: “No surprise, he’s caused carnage,” while another added: “Karma is real. You have sinned during your tenure at Arsenal.”
A fifth Arsenal supporter stated: “We employed this useless guy for years, while Forest needed 6 months to realize it.”
The overwhelming tone of the reaction was critical, with many supporters suggesting the reports reflected their frustrations with Edu’s previous role at Arsenal.
Nottingham Forest do not want Edu Gaspar around
According to the report from The Telegraph, Edu has been told to ‘stay away’ from Nottingham Forest’s stadium and training ground.
The report claims the decision relates to internal tensions within Evangelos Marinakis’ football group, which the Brazilian joined after leaving Arsenal.
Edu had been expected to play a key role within the wider football structure, but the situation has reportedly changed amid disagreements about Forest’s direction.
The Foresters have already had four managers this season and are now battling relegation.
